A friend of mine got married recently. It was an awesome day filled with love, friends, the excitement of watching 2 lovebirds start their life together. And of course, the flower arrangements were gorgeous!
We got to take home a centerpiece – a mix of roses and hydrangeas arranged in a mason jar. I wanted to save the flowers for the happy couple and gift it back to them in a different arrangement.
So I hung the flowers up and let them dry for one week, then arranged them back in the jar!
I also tried the hairspray method to help the flowers keep their color…but I’m not convinced.
To keep the moisture under control and make sure that the flowers last, I taped a silica-gel bag under the lid before closing it. 👍🏼
